Why Hybrid Hands-On Exists
Hybrid Hands-On wasn't created because online learning became popular.
It was created because I ,YonniRed, had to find a better way to teach.
Years ago, I was on my way to teach an in-person loc class when I was involved in a car accident.
Instead of canceling the class, I taught it online using Google's hangout (Way before zoom)
To my surprise, the class was just as effective.
So I continued teaching both online and in person.
Over time, I noticed something I couldn't ignore.
Many of the students learning online were getting better results
than the students attending traditional in-person classes.

The reason was simple.
The in-person classes taught styles.
The online training taught mastery.
Online students had more opportunities to practice,
ask questions, receive feedback, and apply what they were learning.
Instead of waiting until class to talk about mistakes,
they could make corrections, hands-on in real time right on their client's heads.
My goal was to always transfer the technique and preserve the health of locs so I understood.
Doing a technique you were taught a few minutes ago
and mastering a technique you can do to perfection still
after a year of finishing class are two different things..
I started focusing on helping locticians MASTER the proper techniques
behind healthy loc care.
That's how Hybrid Hands-On was born.
HOW Is hybrid hands-on virtual class different?
Most LOC education focuses on information.
Hybrid Hands-On focuses on understanding.
Before students ever touch a client, we first show the technique,
explain the technique, and demonstrate the technique.
We break down not only what to do, but why it works.
Once students clearly understand the process,
they begin applying the technique while receiving guidance and feedback.
This approach eliminates much of the uncertainty that causes locticians to
second-guess themselves.
After all, confidence isn't created by guessing.
Confidence is created by certainty.
When you understand the proper technique, why it works,
and how to apply it, confidence naturally follows.
That's why Hybrid Hands-On has helped so many locticians improve their skills.
The techniques aren't based on trends, opinions, or theories.
They're based on years of salon experience,
years of teaching experience, and techniques that have already
been tested and proven on real clients.
Our goal isn't simply to show you a style.
Our goal is to help you understand the technique well enough to apply it
